Bouldering Triassic

Have I ever mentioned where I 1st heard Emery's name?  I was going rock climbing (bouldering) with some friends in Joe's Valley before I even met Aaron and I got a speeding ticket.  Boo.  I remember going to pay the ticket and seeing "Emery County" at the top and thinking, "Emery.  That's a great name!"  Fast forward a few years and the name had meaning for Aaron and I since we did lots of climbing here together, and he agreed that Emery fit our pretty new baby just right.

We took a trip back, Emery's first, to Emery county to boulder in the boulder fields of Triassic at the end of March.  It was one of those perfect family days.  The kids wanted to climb on EVERYTHING for the 1st few hours and there is lots of great stuff for them to climb there.  Then they wandered around finding dinosaur footprints and climbing boulder mountains while mom and dad got some serious climbing in.  I climbed harder than I had in a long time.  The weather was perfect.  The baby was happy.  She even took a nap outside.  :)  PERFECT DAY.

Butterfly kisses from Emery make him happy.

I have no eyes - sort of creepy.  Seriously though, look at that form.  She's good I tell you.

Daddy daughter bonding on top of the boulder.

Night night Izzy.  (Have I mentioned that Izzy will NOT fall asleep for me like this?  She won't.)
