Young Men's High Adventure

If there's one reason Aaron is the Young Men's President it's to ensure the adventurousness of the High Adventure!  Moab for mountain biking, hiking and river rafting.  I decidedly called it boys weekend.  And Aaron reminded any of the boys who whined about anything that I would give my left leg to be there and they could go trade me if they wanted to.  :)  They had a blast!
ready to get on the river

The whole crew

Aaron's team of tough bikers.  The 5 of them had fun on some harder trails.

A fun hike they did.

Playdough!

More playdough!

My Grandma and Grandpa meet baby Faye Adele.  (Adele was this Grandma's grandmother.)

Summer = popsicles!

Fun with cousin Diesel at Thanksgiving Point

Van learned to mow the lawn.  With supervision.

Snuggles from his giant baby!

Loving her baby sister.

I love it when they fall asleep random places.  Ha.

More sleeping.  Faye did lots of this in June.  So June was pretty easy.  It's when she started sleeping less that things got tricky...

I love that this is our extended back yard.  They call it the "stick fort".  And it's pure magic.

We decided to try and break the record fort the most kids playing in the sandbox at once.

We celebrated Pioneer Day with our friends, the Gouldings.

Cousin Hailey came to town for the Princess Festival.

Van and Logan hanging out at a neighborhood party.  These two are buddies.

Graham was born!  And Bekah and I rejoiced in no longer being pregnant.
And Graham and Faye were tired from all of that being born stuff.  So they took a nap together.

More yard progress!  We finished the concrete work between the two houses.  aka "the courtyard"

Aaron decided we should put a date on the calendar for when we should plan to enter the MTC together.  Here it is, folks!

Naptime for dad and Faye.  This guy loves his girls.
Fresh from heaven besties, Adalee and Faye.  My best friend Lacee (besties since we were about... 6) decided to look at my ultrasound pictures so she knew what we were having and we didn't!  She's like a vault!  She knew Addee's bestie was coming and it is so fun!  We hope they will always be friends like their mamas!

Up American Fork

I always get antsy having a new baby around because I feel so stuck inside.  So we headed up the canyon a few times after Faye was born  to eat dinner as a family.  It was fun to eat, laugh, hike and walk along the river in the beautiful weather and scenery!
Silly fam

This girl is getting way too big and way too beautiful

Just us girls.

Round 2
Dirty boy = happy boy

"Daddy, I've fallen and I can't get up!"

Izzy's first time really wanting to try hiking instead of backpack-riding.  She did great!  Looks like she'll be a hiker afterall!  Whew!

Izzy turns 2!!!

At the end of May this baby turned 2!  Izzy's 2nd birthday literally broke my heart.  She's the baby I thought would never grow up.  And 2 is  totally on the way to growing up.  So sad.  And so cute.  We are so lucky to have this sweet, polite, sassy, dramatic, bubbly, giggly, happy little girl at our house!
We ate at Pizza Pie Cafe to celebrate.  She loves carbs and cheese so it's a match made in birthday heaven.

Cute sisters

Birthday balloons!  I love this stage where they smile with their eyes closed.  So funny.

She loved her kitty phone!

May

Pre and post baby, May was fun!!
Fun with cousins at Thanksgiving Point Gardens!

First bath at home... Aaron's favorite
ahhh, time for the hair.

Family pictures and a day with our Wilkinson family

thank you Grandma!
Cousin Weston warming up Izzy after they all got soaked
Crazy, wet cousins!
Cute, wet girls! Missy, Emery and Hailey.
We got chicks in April!  They were cute and fun... and grew up fast!  We let them out in the window well until they were big enough to let out into the yard.
Van helped Grandpa finish the sprinklers.

And then the BIG day!  We got GRASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was a big job.  Aaron and my dad almost killed themselves.  Thankfully a couple of neighbor boys came and helped.  :)

Aaron set up an ascender in the basement for the kids.  Van loves it.

Walks on our lovely - and very full - river!

And lots of this for our little Sleeping Beauty.

Izzy liked to lay on Faye a lot at first.  Though she does look like a baby doll in this picture...

Izzy fed her babies while mommy fed Faye.

I hope these two will be best buddies some day.
Van did lots of baby holding.  He is my baby lover.  The girls love the babies.  But Van LOVES them.

He spent lots of time just laying there looking at her.

Sleepy mom selfie.

Izzy reverted to all things baby.  Binkies, bouncers, etc.

And she kissed Grady!  He is very handsome, I have to admit.

Lots of spring rain meant lots of mud.  Mud = fun!!!
