Christmas in Las Vegas

We went home to Las Vegas for Christmas this year.  It was fun to be back and we got to see lots of people and have lots of fun! It was a magical Christmas - thanks to both sets of parents for making it so!!

Got to see my gorgeous friend Sonna and her new handsome man, Luke.  They treated us all to a delicious dinner at her house - so great to see them!
Izzy loves "Guncle Bry"
Aren't we looking Christmasy??  And I ditched the blonde hair.  :)  And my bangs are way less funky than they look in all of these pictures.  Ha.

Van and his betrothed, Jersey, at church.  We asked them if they wanted to go to Nursery and they just stood there like this.  So cute.

Pa and a naked Izzy!

Mom and her happy girl.

Hiking in Spooky Canyon with the Irvins.

My nephew, Jacob, with Iz.

Cousins under the Christmas tree!

Putting out cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve!

Family Christmas shot - thank you, Van.

Christmas Izzy.

Emery with her fairy doll from Santa.

Van with his dump truck from Santa.

Boots from Grandma and Pa!

Van with his Camelbak from Ma and Pa.

Christmas Day sledding.

My kids were grumpy, tired sledders on Christmas Day.  Em liked the hot chocolate though.  Can you tell?

Van usually loves sledding.  He was just too tired to enjoy it.  He finally went to the car with Ma and fell asleep sitting straight up.

Aaron and my dad on a ride.
How the kids fell asleep our last night there.  Van burst into tears when we got home the next day saying, "I want go back to other Ma's house!"  My kids are so lucky to have such amazing grandparents.

more Christmas/December fun

Cousin sleepover under the Christmas tree - you can tell there was lots of sleeping.  Ha.  Actually all of the kids went to bed great.  Except for mine.  Who had to go down to their room because it was past 10pm and they just couldn't settle down.  Too excited.  :)

Wilk family Christmas Party started at Hang Time - the trampoline gym.  Here's Em playing Dogdeball.

No, I did not make this cake, Martha Stewart did (aka my MIL).  Isn't it beautiful!

Little Lina ready for the nativity

Emery was Mary this year!

And here are the 5 wise men.
We had a family talent show and Emery sang Angles We Have Heard on High.  So cute!

We buzzed up to SLC one day to be with our friends, the Olofsons, when they were sealed.  So amazing to be there with them that day!

The adorable couple.

We met the Olofsons the next day so Emery could see their daughter - her friend Azlyn. Love City Creek Center!

The kids and I had fun playing in the snow one day.

They loved the Jello snow!  Just pour dry Jello on clean snow and then lick it up.

My little Christmas present ready for church one day.

I love this baby

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

Christmas festivities are here and we're having a blast!!
Decorating the tree with Grandma

My cute little ornaments

The 4 babies at the Rusts.  It was FREEZING and we bailed out of seeing the lights at Temple Square... so we played Minute to Win It games.

Here's Chelsey shaking it!

And mom!

Dad trying to cut down the Christmas tree

Aaron testing his flexibility

And me looking ridiculous trying to eat a cookie off my forehead.
15 of the 17 cousins.  Cute!!

Seeing Santa at the Riverwoods.  Van told Santa what he wants for Christmas - an iPad.  Santa told him that in his shop they make iPads out of wood, but he'll see what he can do.  :)

On a horse-drawn carriage ride.  Aaron calls this my pirate headband. He hates it.  Which means I love to wear it.  :)

Van got to ride up front on the carriage ride.  I distracted Em the whole time so we wouldn't have jealous tears flowing.

Van learning some carpentry at "A Night in Bethlehem"

Em working some dough at "A Night in Bethlehem".  And Van picking his nose.

sitting on the window sill at a Bell Choir sing along.  fun!
