We got chicks in April!  They were cute and fun... and grew up fast!  We let them out in the window well until they were big enough to let out into the yard. 

Van helped Grandpa finish the sprinklers. 

And then the BIG day!  We got GRASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a big job.  Aaron and my dad almost killed themselves.  Thankfully a couple of neighbor boys came and helped.  :)

Aaron set up an ascender in the basement for the kids.  Van loves it.

Izzy liked to lay on Faye a lot at first.  Though she does look like a baby doll in this picture...

Izzy fed her babies while mommy fed Faye. 

I hope these two will be best buddies some day.  

Van did lots of baby holding.  He is my baby lover.  The girls love the babies.  But Van LOVES them.  

He spent lots of time just laying there looking at her.

And she kissed Grady!  He is very handsome, I have to admit.  

Lots of spring rain meant lots of mud.  Mud = fun!!!
