Lake Powell 2013

We got to go to Lake Powell with our Wilkinson family this year! It was a blast! We found a great beach and 15 of 17 cousins were there... playing, playing playing for 5 full days! Thanks, Mom and Dad, for such a great trip!!

We bought a fishing pole on the way there and Van and Aaron did lots of fishing. All of the little boy cousins helped too.

The Rusts brought their inflatable kayaks. It was so fun to go out on the lake in them.

Van asked at least once a day to just play in the sand with dad. He loves dad.

Van ate his breakfast in the back yard sitting in his dump truck one morning.

We left Izzy with Grandma for some serious fun at Seven Peaks. We got to ride the big slides! So fun!

Sometimes when Van starts to fall asleep we stop trying to fix it and start filming. It makes him mad.... and it makes him laugh.

On a bike ride we stopped and fished with a family around the corner for a minute. The boys caught a crawdad.

Van scored big. He won over 600 tickets on one game!!

Em's week with Jayne

The Irvins (sans Jay) visited us in July. It was so fun to see them and Van and Emery were obviously thrilled to have Jayne and Jersey staying with us. We ended up getting to keep Jayne for 5 extra days while Julie and Jay ran off on a trip just the two of them while the other sibs stayed with Julie's parents and sister.
