January

January was cold and wintery with a few bright and sunny days!  It was a great month!

Izzy is as obsessed with "Frozen" as the other kids are.  She carries around Elsa and Anna (sometimes to Emery's dismay) constantly.  She knows them by name.  And randomly comes running up to me pointing to the computer and saying "let it go!" so she can hear the song.  Sometimes I hear her in her bed just singing it to herself.  Here she is putting Elsa in the dishwasher.  I love the look on her face.  "I'm so clever."

This baby loves to walk on the table and counter.  When I ask her to get down she runs straight for me kissing with her lips.  Her kisses will get her out of most any trouble.  Too bad she's already figured that out.

Oh big brothers... opening babies eyes while they are car napping.

I was waiting for the perfect day (decent snow to build with, not too cold) to build a snowman.  So it came... and we built it!  I had to put a frozen Izzy inside for the last 20 minutes and let her watch a show so we could finish, but other than that it was a smash hit!

Hello, Olaf!!!

I hosted a super fun baby shower for my BFF Lacee.  She's due any day and we're all so excited to meet her baby girl!   3 pregnant bellies for your enjoyment.

Abby took a walk with us one sunny (and not so warm) day.  It felt lovely to get some vitamin D!

Van and Abby having fun in the snow
The artist and his little muse.  She loves her brother and loves copying the crazy things he does.

Cute little masterpiece

Van helped Dad clean my windows.

Aaron turned 92 and ate homemade curry and mangos and sticky rice to celebrate.  Is there any other way?

Birthday head scratch for dad!

I snuggled this baby.  She is still such a baby.  I love it.

Van stuck veggie straws up his nose.  :)

We went on a date!  Shock! Awe!!  The BYU Planetarium show was.... a disappointment, but it's been on our list forever and now it's not!  Zupas was delicious as usual though... and even better since we had a gift card!

This baby and her stuffed animal collection.
Aaron and his dad went to a screen printing show in CA.  We missed dad but they got some seriously important stuff done so we're glad they went!

So while dad was gone we took the Miners to the zoo with us.

And Emery and Jaren made silly faces and took pictures of them in the back seat on the way home.

Silly kids!

I did my themed week for Joy School - Safety Week!  We talked about Police officers, fire safety, home safety, stranger danger - you name it!  Here are my little Police Officers.

And E shared her hat with Izzy.  So stinking cute.
Safety Week coinsided with our field trip week so I booked us a trip to the fire station - complete with 2 real emergencies! First, the paramedics got called out.  Then Firefighter Steve and the rest of the guys had to leave in the middle of our tour because there was a fire!  The kids LOVED it!  Even Emery wants to be a fireman now.  Or woman, I guess.
Bek and boys came to enjoy it with us too.

Look!  A picture of the moms!  I love this girl and the other girls we do Joy School with!  It is such a great group.  We are so lucky.

They were so excited to watch them leave.

Our crew for the day!
