Maple... and Maple

We made a trip to Maple Canyon in May and one in June.  We would have gone more but I tell Aaron we can't go every weekend because it's too much gas.  :)  First time just climbing.  Second time camping and climbing.  We love this place!!

Cute kids hiding in the shade.  It was HOT that morning!  And we tried out a new area with some easy climbs... that is NOT kid friendly.  It's on a huge hill.  Bummer.

Proudest moment of Aaron's life - Emery heel hooked (right heel).  

She heel hooked on a 10a at the Riverside area.  She did great working through the moves.  

Second time - when we camped too.  So fun!  

Izzy was so amused by the tiny pink camping chair she sat in it for an hour.

Emery loved the 5.7 at an area right by the road.... where we parked the car so Izzy could take a nap and we could still climb.  AWESOME.

Van climbed once or twice.  And ate the rope.  And played with trucks.  And tortured the baby.    

Proof mom still climbs.  10b at the Pipeline.  Aar climbed 11b -  but his belayer was SUPER focused and didn't take any pictures.  Next time I'll ask a stranger.
