7 Years

In the spirit of the fall season, we have driven the Alpine Loop each year on (or near) our anniversary (when we've lived near it, that is).  We were excited to drive it this year since we're back in the area.  It's always beautiful and I always remember it being so wonderful and relaxing. 

Well apparently we've never taken 3 kids on the loop.  Cute #1 was having a whiny, fall-apart, emotional break down.  So we pulled the car over to recoop and #3, who really needed a nap, woke up.  We got back on the road and cute #2 started moaning.  I turned around to see what was wrong... and he was green.  So we pulled over and let him walk around and get some fresh air.  And some gum.  Puke averted.  Or so we thought.  About 5 minutes later I looked in back again and he looked even more green.  And then he threw up every where!  Ahhh!!  We pulled over again and cleaned him up the best we could.  Then we got back on the road and #3 cried the last 30 minutes home.  :( 

Wow.  7 years has yielded a lot of change for us.  2 love bird students to a family of 5.  And we're still loving every minute of it.  And of each other.  So glad I married this man. 

And for our anniversary, we bought each other a house.  Details to come!!  We're so excited!  Our pre-construction meeting is tomorrow.  They should dig our basement next week.  

Since I taught Emery how to write name poetry today, I'll write one for Aaron. 

Always puts his family first
Anxious to please
Rescues me often
Only has eyes for me
Networking maniac (this sounds weird, but he really is!  And his new career is really magnifying that quality!)
